Attica is a historic area of Greece which includes the historic town of Athens, capital of the country, as well as the town and port of Piraeus. The whole of Attica is an “open museum” full with global cultural heritage monuments cohabiting with modern cultural centers as well as with the worldwide famous archeological sites with their impressive museums of Modern Art.

Festivals with ancient dramas, cultural and sports events as well as culinary events are being organized all year around.

Attica is surrounded by water from the East, the West and the South, so it is reminiscent of an island. In reality it is a sun kissed peninsula with a wide seafront by crystal waters!

Athens is the historic capital of Europe, since it is being inhabited from the Neolithic era until today. During this long and exciting history, on the fifth century B.C., its values and its civilization overcame the geographical borders of the city and became a beacon for all people around the globe. Politics, theatre, arts, philosophy, science, architecture and those many facets of the human mind reached their pick in a unique in global history moment making a spiritual completion.

Throughout history, the city knew many conquerors, who left their signature in monuments which now hold a special charm, creating thus a rare historic mosaic. In 1834 Athens was declared the capital of the newly formed Greek state, because of its rich past. During these two centuries Athens evolved to a modern metropolitan center with unparalleled charm and interest.

Today, visiting Athens, is a once in a lifetime experience.
