Unique Crete Island

Last but not least Crete, the biggest island of Greece, a place enchanted that can offer anything you might dream of. Because of its geographical placement, Crete had become a crossroads of peoples and cultures, the target of conquerors and an important place for Minoans, Mycenaeans, Ottomans, Arabs and Venetians, that left behind a rich cultural heritage.

In 2025 the Minoan Palatial Centers of Crete were officially added to the World Heritage Designation of UNESCO. This addition means that the six archeological sites of the island have been universally recognized as significant: Cnossos, Faistos, Mallia, Zachros, Zomenthos and Kydonias.

Beaches with crystal clear waters, magnificent mountains, great museums and ancient settlements, murals with vivid colors, impressive caves and canyons known from prehistoric times, a mild climate, enchanting beaches with state of the art hotels, enchanting mainland with scenic villages, traditions and warm hospitality, excellent local cuisine (its main protagonists are meat, virgin olive oil, fruit, vegetables and legumes). A unique island with over a thousand kilometers of coastline; that’s Crete.
