Unique Evia Island

Evia is the second largest island of the country. Very close to Athens if you use the hanging bridge of Chalkida which keeps open the island to the visitors all year round.

The capital of the island over the Evripos Straits with the unexplained irregular and often tidal movement of waters, the interesting Archeological Museum and the energetic night life. From Chalkida all the roads lead either to the most tourist oriented north Euboea or to the unknown but authentic south Euboea.

The landscape has its own rare beauty and huge alterations; chose from almost 110 beautiful beaches in the Euboean Gulf and the Aegean, green mountains, rivers, canyons and dense forests. Atmospheric villages with thermal springs, archeological museums, the temple of Apollo, the ruined villages, the mysterious Dragonhouses, the “twin” Venetian castles and the monasteries are just a fraction of what you can see on the island. An island that can fulfill all kinds of visitors.
